Background
Every ten years, municipalities must review their master plan. The previous review was done in 2006, requiring Ramsey to start the current review in 2016, which it did. A preliminary report was then prepared and submitted by the consultant. One subcommittee meeting has been held. As requested by a resident, the meeting was open to the public (for observation – no public comments were permitted). The following current information is provided:
At the Planning Board meeting of 17 September (just before meeting end), it was announced that:
- Meeting of Master Plan subcommittee
- 1:30 PM, Thursday 26 Sept, Council Chamber
- (follows the Application Review Committee)
- Public is invited to observe (no comments permitted)
- the meeting will be recorded
The initial consultant’s report, Master Plan and Reexamination Report 2016, is available at http://www.ramseynj.com/210/Master-Plan. It’s well worth reading before attending the meeting.
The earlier subcommittee meeting was recorded, and is available under the Planning Board (agenda and minutes), 9 November 2018. Just the audio recording is available; there is no agenda nor minutes.
